In 2028, Montours will be celebrating 250 year of being a congregation, worshiping on this hilltop. Even though this celebration is 10 years away, we want to begin some preliminary preparations now. We want to collect the stories and remembrances of our history, so we are asking those whose memories go back a few years to begin writing down what they can remember about the church. We are looking for names of pastors and members who have come and gone as well as the stories that made this church such a unique community of faith.
No hands are empty that serve others
Eager hands is a charitable knitting and crochet group where like-minded needlecrafters gather to share their talents with those in need in the community. We take our name from the Woman of Noble Character of Proverbs 31, who "opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy". In particular, verse13, says, "She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands".
It is the hope of every member of the Eager Hands ministry that the individuals who receive the items we make will not only feel the warmth and comfort from our handmade creations, but will also feel the Love of God through those creations. God has gifted us with It is the hope of every member of the Eager Hands ministry that and it is our mission to share His gifts with those around us.
