Eager Hands

Eager Hands is a charitable knitting and crochet group where
like-minded needlecrafters gather to share their talents with those in
need in the community. We take our name from the Woman of Noble
Character of Proverbs 31, who "opens her arms to the poor and extends
her hands to the needy." In particular, verse 13 says, "She selects
wool and flax and works with eager hands."

For those who have the desire but lack the skills to knit or crochet, we will gladly provide free lessons in the that once someone learns, he or she will join our ministry. All ages are welcome, from the very young to the young at heart. And yes, we gladly welcome men, women and children to join us.

It is the hope of every member of the Eager Hands ministry that the individuals who receive the items we make will not only feel the warmth and comfort from our handmade creations, but will also feel the Love of God through those creations. God has gifted us with creativity, and it is our mission to share His gifts with those around us.
